How this reading is made

What we calculate

Where the meaning comes from
Each element carries one of Jung's four psychological functions — Fire to intuition, Earth to sensation, Air to thinking, Water to feeling — and the element's polarity fixes the attitude that goes with it: fire and air signs are extroverted, earth and water introverted. That is why your reading speaks of extroverted intuition or introverted feeling rather than generic sun-sign traits. Because the function follows the element, the three signs sharing an element share a type; what separates them is the modality, which our source names as the other half of what makes twelve signs out of four elements. It is a psychological framework wearing astrological clothing.
What we don't claim
We work from your date alone. No birth time means no rising sign, no houses, and no full natal chart — if you want those, you need a chart-based astrologer, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. The mapping itself is also contested, and our own source is what makes the case: most psychologically oriented astrologers pair fire with intuition, but the paper argues that the psychic side of intuition fits water better, and it quotes Rob Hand concluding that no element really corresponds to Jung's feeling type at all — Jung's 'feeling' is a rational, judging function, not emotion. We use the common mapping because it is the most widely held, not because the question is closed. We also name your modality without interpreting it: the paper defines the three crosses but never describes them, and we would rather leave a label bare than invent a meaning for it.
